I'm Nilesh Maurya, a Mumbai-based Producer and Director with 13+ years across advertising, branded content and digital storytelling.
I started on set in 2011 and worked up through coordination and associate producing before taking films of my own. In 2020 I founded New Way Films, a production house built to take an idea from first conversation to final master without handing it around.
What I actually do is bridge two things that rarely speak the same language — creative ambition and production reality. A treatment is only worth something if it can be crewed, costed and shot. My job is making sure the film that gets delivered is the film that was promised.
Since 2024 a growing part of my work has been generative AI — not as a novelty, but built into the pipeline for previz, concept films and rapid iteration. That work lives in the AI Lab.
